Sasha Hill - Founder & Principal Consultant
PGCE Secondary English 11-18 years, B.A. (Hons) Combined Arts; Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy
I am a passionate advocate for lifelong learning and personal growth, no matter your age or background. I hold professional insurance for all aspects and a full DBS certification.
With over 25 years of experience in the Education Sector, I have taught and tutored students aged 11 to 18 across a broad range of subjects. My core subject is English, which I have taught consistently across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. In addition, I’ve had the opportunity to teach Drama, Religious Studies, Financial Studies, and Personal Development, which has broadened my understanding of diverse learner needs. I have trained and developed many teaching professionals and I am also an assessor for GCSE and 'A' Level examinations.
Throughout my career, I’ve held several leadership roles, including:
- Subject Leader for KS3 English
- Subject Leader for KS4 English
- Subject Leader for KS5 English
- Academic and Curriculum Leader of English
- Pastoral Manager
- Head of Sixth Form
- AQA Examiner
Each of these roles has deepened my commitment to putting the individual at the heart of education and support. This belief led me to qualify as a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2013, further expanding how I help others build confidence, manage anxiety and stress.
Proof-reading and Editing
My background in teaching English, and a previous career as a Campaigns and Communications Officer with a major high-street bank, means that I do enjoy proof-reading and editing. It may seem an unusual interest but when it's second nature, you don't really think about it!
Public Speaking
Our interest talks turn fascinating topics into enjoyable shared experiences. We create welcoming, relaxed sessions where groups can learn something new, ask questions and connect through curiosity. From surprising facts to uplifting stories, each talk is crafted to be engaging, accessible and tailored to your audience. Ideal for U3A groups, social clubs, libraries and community events.
I have a valid DBS certificate, which can be viewed upon request.
